I don't mind doing my time .

What I don't like is being treated bad , I never belittle my trainees
At full time job , or insult them.

Guess what ? That works great .

I guess I expect mutual respect .

Karate...I don't doubt your might have been treated poorly and I don't doubt people at this job could be assholes. But you cannot control that. All you can control is what you do. And what I see here is manic behavior. So my point was if you can be mindful of how you act and react you can expect more successful outcomes.
