I have to own to being a sassenach Stoogy, but I did have the good taste to marry a scot ( well, 2 actually but we don't talk about the first one, call it a trial run!)
But I guess for the balance of things, I ought to remind folk that the land of my fathers had plenty to offer too.

I love Stonehenge, I've saw a program with people claiming to know how this was built but I don't believe this can be man made without the use of Karates tractor lol 😄😄😄

When I was younger I really wanted to do an east to west us trip, but money kinda got in the way (lack of it) and being self employed it's real hard to find time for breaks in general let alone extended ones. But yeah San Fran looks phenomenal.

Thanks ReaderBaby, great post.
Have a brilliant weekend.

I visited all the European places while living in Europe (up until 2006). For a few years I was in Lausanne - that's very conveniently located in the middle of the continent - I could actually travel to many places by train and was a student so half price. Then a few years in the UK and I visited mainly northern Europe. It was practical.

I like this thread because it reminds me of one of my biggest passions - travel - and how during the past few years as a heavy drinker I neglected this and mainly traveled into the bottom of the bottle and my crazy head from the inside of a room. Well not only, but you get the point. Needs to change now.

Very true, I always planned my events around my drinking. Looking back its an extremely sad thought.

New Zealand is close to my heart, have family there.
I'm just not too good on long haul flights which I'm sad about.
Great photo, thanks.
