something old something new

Just wanted to check in and share that I've been in a partial hospitalization program in a very nice hospital. It was great and I urge anyone who has been vacillating to go on and do it. I came out with a bipolar diagnosis and a whole new world of crap to worry about.

But I went to a great AA meeting today and laughed my ass off.

Onwards and upwards indeed. I think the important thing is that some people get better when they get sober, and some people get worse. If you got worse, you might also have this mental illness and you need to seek treatment.
