Want to share somthing that helped me ALOT .

The Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your...: Joyce Meyer, Pat Lentz: 9781586215347: Amazon.com: Books

I listened to this for a long time ,I still mentally refer to it .

I really took to heart "Think about what you are thinking about ".

I hope this helps someone else like it did me .

A fellow country people program , now sober friend .

Told me about it .

This is what people mean when they say 'mindfulness'. This is an attentive awareness of how things are, and among those things that are is what you are thinking about. Some famous thinkers and leaders have recommended mindfulness in day-to-day life, maintaining as much as possible a calm awareness of one's body, feelings, mind.

There is a lot to learn about this idea, and it is a very powerful tool to have along with you.

There is a book that I've been reading called Mindfulness in Plain English - worth a read.

I've also enjoyed Nick Vujicic's videos and books myself. Helps put things into perspective sometimes.

This process ,does not have to be a religious process .

I personally think that's very helpful .

But ,the audio book would work very well for an non -Christian as well .
