Will be starting my 4th step soon

My sponsor is old school.....no nonsense.
We will be starting this weekend.

Any good links or guides I can begin reading? I have already checked out the step forum here.

Yes....big book and 12 and 12 are my cornerstones. I was thinking along the lines of how they did it in the beginning with examples.....or perhaps Oxford group info and their teachings on it.

I definitely don't want to over think it or make it harder than it should be.....I just want to be fearless and thorough.

The big book pages 64-71 tells you exactly how to do it. I would read it if you haven't already, but you should go through this together with your sponsor.

Be guided by your sponsor assuming they have worked the steps and recovered from the mental obsession. Good for you, positive action to begin change that's the only way out of this one:-)

The big book. Also I found the Hazelden Gide to 4th step inventory was helpful in helping me understand the meaning and nature of character defects.
