anyone used diet teas when trying to sober up

Im trying to lose weight. Have been using a herbal tea detox called bootea but after 7 days all its doing is making me pee loads and has seriously messed up my tummy.

Usualy when i stop drinking my alcoholic fatty tummy goes down but it hasnt this time. Has this happened to anyone else. Ive stopped drinking the tea as my weightloss hasnt exacly been great either

I drink a lot of tea from Taiwan and other tea growing regions, I also browse a forum for tea enthusiasts. From my experience with tea, I feel that I can safely say that weight loss and tea is highly exaggerated at best.

There are no short cuts to losing weight. Dieting often takes hard work and a complete change in one's lifestyle.

Just like sobriety.

Good luck with both.

I lost the beer belly when I got sober, but weight loss has stalled since I replaced beer with eating vast quantities of lard....

You made me laugh AlwaysSober!

I lost a good amount when I quit but stuck to a pretty strict eating plan, with one cheat eat day a week. Moderation seems to work when I comes to eating, at least for me.
