Birthday and still sober
Just wanted to check in..it is my 60th birthday and I am 2 years and 4 months sober. So anyone reading this who is struggling...keep at it..you CAN do it. I am now dealing with other less destructive addictions to do with food and spending and exploring co-dependant relationship which I could not do when I was drinking. These forums helped me so much in the early days. I never take my sobriety for granted. It is still and will always be "just for today..." Thankyou for listening
