I heard something cool today.
I heard something cool today.
When asked what kind of beer do I like, I would always answer cold. But if you don't have my favorite, I'll settle for my second favorite, warm.
I have been in a group for a while. This one guy would never admit he was an alcoholic or that he had a drinking problem. He would just say, "I like beer."
Today for the first time ever he said, "I used to like beer." It may not mean anything to the rest of you. But having been there for a couple months it was sort of a revelation coming from this man. Hard to explain, you had to be there. It was an uplifting experience for me to here it. Just thought I'd share that.

I seriously wonder if I like beer. I always despised the taste of anything alcholic till became an alcoholic. Now one evening my wife made a dish with a wine sauce I about gagged tasteing that wine in the suace and refused to eat it. it was a dish i had eaten 10000 times before and never minded.
So I wonder if i'd even like the stuff anymore. But i'm downright terrified to find out. Curiousty killed the cat. i thought to night what if i had a few beers. THen What if i never got out of that pit again? ::shudder::
