I'm going in to the hospital the day after tomorrow. The tests are for colonic problems, with cancer being the big worry. I'll mention my falling problems to the specialist. I appreciate all the posts here, including the poster who mentioned the falling problem may be unrelated to alcohol. Maybe it's dehydration, or electrolyte imbalance, or something related to my bowel problems?

I hit the kitchen floor so hard today I thought I broke my tailbone, and maybe a rib. The rib feels OK now, but my tailbone hurts like hell.

Thanks again to all.

I hope you find the cause, and also that you get the colon all clear

Thanks so much, Dee. And congratulations on your seven years sober!

I'd like to say two things: first, that I'm pretty sure that whatever health problems I have are alcohol related.

And second, that, however much time I have left, I want to beat my alcoholism before I die. That would be a huge spiritual victory.

Thanks again.

Riel

Riel, I am praying for you. I hope you get positive test results and take this issue very seriously. Be honest with your doctor, it may save your life.

You can be alcoholism if you put your mind to it.

God Bless!
