Starting a new job tomorrow
Im nervous I start my new job tomorrow I have short easy shifts all week. Thank goodness for that. I had my last day at old job yesterday. I had nightmares about new job last night. I hope my coworkers and manager are all nice. I am going to miss my coworkers and supervisor at old job. I don't feel like drinking at all have no cravings or desire too. Just wanted to vent Im nervous and scared. Not as scared as I would be if I didn't know the job already. It is the same department as my old job. I just feel like people are going to be judging me more harshly because I have previous experience.
Good luck, don't worry you'll be great! I started a new job 6 months ago and I remember those feelings of dread. But don't forget: they have extended this offer to you because they WANT you in this position. They think you'll be a good fit. More than one person has agreed that you are the person they want in this job! They want you and they are excited to have you on board
Have a great first day, congratulations!

You've vented about your "old" job numerous times. I got the impression it was driving you crazy, threatening relapse. Many folks responded that you should find a new job. You have. So congratulations.
I hope you find the grass greener on the other side.

Hey Everyone
My first day went well. I acted more confident than I felt on the inside. My coworkers seem real nice and the managers too. You can tell your not just a number at king soopers they care about you as a person. Its weird I know how to slice meat and do other things I just don't know the products at all completely different from walmart. The way they wash dishes is completely different and label products. But most things are universal like operating a slicer and cleaning it and the rotisserie ovens cleaning them and checking temperatures of foods.
