18 months tomorrow
March 8, 2014. This will probably be the last time I celebrate anything other than a round number of years, but 18 months sounds pretty cool to me right now. 1.5 years.
Thanks SR... Truly couldn't have done it without you. I can honestly say, without the support of both SR and my husband, I wouldn't be sober today. I don't discuss my recovery at all besides here and with him, so you all have been key for me. Thank you.

Sounds great! How are you doing mentally? I know me and at least a couple others hovering around 2 months are still waiting for things to "click". I keep looking for reasons to think I fried my brain a bit.
You feel normal?
You feel normal?
Congratulations on 18 SOBER months!
I will be at my one year mark in two weeks.
This is the longest I have been sober in over 43 years and it feels great.
I could not have done it without SR and my Higher Power.
I hope you always stay six months ahead of me.
Wishing us all many more years of sobriety.

And i agree.
The next time someone asks you how long you've been sober, tell them "it'll be 2 years in September."
I guess I would say this is the "new normal." It's a HECK of a lot better than the old normal.
