Found a Sponsor

Yay! I'm 46 days sober. Been through inpatient, intensive outpatient, and now I'm ready to work with a sponsor and work the steps. Last night I built up the courage to go up to somebody and ask her to be my sponsor and she said "yes!" I'm so excited to be taking this next step.

Chadd that's fantastic. And well done for 46 days, that's fantastic also. Keep reminding yourself of how great you are doing. We all need to be our own head cheerleader in our recovery.

Congratulations. The next step is to make a lot of contact with her as that will help both of you. Far too many of us have a sponsor but never are in touch. Sad.
