Pissed off
Get your revenge through tenacity. Go to detox, go back to the meeting, show through your actions that you are serious. Don't let a lack of compassion put your off your mission, which is to get sober.
People at meetings I go to who are obviously still drinking are treated kindly and encouragingly, but I'm not sure anyone would formally sponsor them until they stopped drinking. They'd be given phone numbers and told to call instead of pick up. They wouldn't be told they sucked.

If someone called me drunk, I would ask them if they needed help getting to detox then I would be willing to be their bridge between detox and their first meeting (I have escorted people to detox and bridged them before).
Lenght of conversation 5 minutes top.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to listen to hours of drunken drivels, "yeah buts" and angry self pitying monologues and I would have no problem hanging up and blocking.
This is not an AA thing btw, most people really do not appreciate receiving drunken phone calls from their loved ones let alone from someone they barely know.
Go to detox and when you leave, go to a meeting (sober) and tell them you are new and need help. You will notice that people will be much more receptive and willing to help.
PS: and this is not tough love btw, just a no nonsense attitude.
