My second detox and I was 4 days in, thought I was doing well! Car got repossessed today and I grabbed a battle right away. Drank a pint. Not sure where to go from here....

I'm sorry you're having bad days but you know as well as I do that bottle wont bring the car back - I doubt it will even make you feel better.

I did that for 20 years. It's the deadest of dead ends.

I hope 2014 will be a better year for you - I found it really can be when you take drinking off the table as an option.

Start again tomorrow, it's all you can do now. Don't let yourself fall back into the daily cycle though. Stop again right away and make a firm decision to stop while thinking of all the negatives that drinking again will bring you. Find some support, anything, a close friend, a counselor or simply anyone that will help you to feel accountable for your actions and make you not want to give in because you will feel like you let them down.

Get that courage and get that support and start again right away. You can do it
