My Co-workers .....

They were all making plans to get DRUNK last night .

Ill bet some of them feel really bad today .

I told them ,If you drink ,stay off the roads .

In the city yesterday the electronic signs said "DWI-ZERO TOLERANCE "
Bet lots of folks are in jail today .

Yup, my co-workers did the same thing. Glad I'm no longer a part of that mess. No worries about a DWI for us, eh?

Wake up all bloated, nauseated, anxiety, blech. I agree, sounds like a bad time.

I was sober all new years eve but woke up today miserable and wanting to drink. Instead I got on this board for a long time, made myself get up, shower and eat, and left the house. Now I'm sitting at a park, very peaceful. Still sober and feeling much happier. So glad I didn't give into the urge, and being healthy instead. I was so close! Thanks, all posters here

Yes, it is nice to not have to worry about that anymore. It seems insane how many chances I took in the past. The cops get more serious every year about the holiday DUI crack-down.

Many people drive even after losing there license for DUI. I saw on the news a man just got his 10th DUI the other day! He had over 22 driving on suspension tickets. The laws do not deter a strong alcoholic.

I was looking at our local newspaper website today after having been out of town for a few days over New Years. In a town of about 40,000 there were 2 alcohol related car crashes with fatalities, a fatal knife fight at a local tavern, and a large fight at a local drinking party that sent 5 people to the hospital. All just last night.
