Interesting study of James Bond's drinking habits
I've read a few complaints about media's glorification of alcohol consumption. Now, a new study analyzes James Bond's drinking and the results aren't so glamorous.
"James Bond was a fall-down drunk — "The Man With the Golden Liver" — according to real research published Thursday by real scientists.
....Commander Bond was "in the highest risk group for malignancies, depression, hypertension, and cirrhosis."

I loved that aspect of Skyfall, the way it explored aging. I'm hitting midlife and facing the physical realities, fearing the impact on decision making and even revisiting the old family home.
Not so much with jumping into bed with hot young things...lol
It's a round robin eh...drinking to shore oneself up for a tough, terrifying job, but at some point it makes one unable to do the tough, terrifying job....Wonder if we'll see OO7 show up at a meeting one day. I want to be the one to hear his step 5...I'll even bring popcorn!
