I'm headed to my wing and beer place to meet up with a few friends (who are in support of my sobriety). This morning I did laundry and am missing a stocking. Then I reconcile the checkbook and it's $90 off so I get to sit down and try to figure that one out. I didn't get to do some of the cleaning I had planned so that's irritating me and I have other things I need to get done.

None of the above is earth shattering and it will all get taken care of. I'm making it out to be more than it is.

Rather someone else is ;)

So before I leave I am officially screaming BE GONE AV!!!!!

I wouldn't go if I didn't feel secure, in fact talked to the little bugger and said "I know what you're up to!".

Plus I just posted this so if any of you are feeling cramped it's because I've got you all stuffed in my pocket and going with me.

If you turn and face your AV, look it right in its squinty little eyes and just stare at it, it will get embarrassed since you have recognized it again. When it sees that it has been found out, it will slink away back where it came from. It looks pretty pathetic too, hungover and bloated, fly undone and shirttail hanging out, and a loooong piece of TP stuck to its shoe. What a maroon. Jerk.

Mmmm... Wings.... I was thinking about geting some wings myself at some point this week! I like garlic Parmesan and teriyaki wings! Yum!

The wings were awesome and it was fun hanging out with you guys :)

I found the sock and I ended up having to add back $10 to my checking, found the math error.

I sit and imagine how this day had been had I not been sober.

You were kinda setting yourself up anyway. I never balance my checkbook and would have just thrown the other sock away. :D

Thanks for the walk on the wing side Lady Blue..I am having the same kind of week. I have to go dumpster diving in our very tall very full recycling bin tomorrow morning for a piece of paper I had in my hand yesterday……I'll be thinking of you and your good stocking karma!:)

Jaynie, I threw my cellphone, along with my garbage, in the community dumpster yesterday. I grabbed some poor soul walking to their car and asked them to call my number so I could hear it ring. Thank goodness the dumpster was fairly full and it was not far from reach.

Mmmmm hmmmm. Good times I tell ya...good times.:lmao

Thanks for doing that for us, it's a good remember when for me to recall a sponsor years ago saying that we can handle the big things in general but it's the little broken shoelaces that we must be aware of and will grab us in the alcoholics thinking.
