Yellow Tale

Hello SR peeps it's been long time since I have made a new thread here, I am reading this amazing book called Yellow Tale by Tiffany Goik....I am 11 months sober starting my 12th month, thanks to SR and lots of hard work on my sobriety ....I just want to pass this book along. I know it sounds weird but I love reading books about people and their storiesabout alcoholism, It gives me hope and keeps my alcoholism in perspective of what it is and the struggles that come with it.

Your welcome PTcapote another book is `Saturation` that I recently read and of course `Drinking a Love Story` and I loved `Dry` but I think Yellow Tale is the best because not only does she take you through her drinking life but also her recovery, in pretty good detail...Which some books do not....A big thanks to you Dee, you have helped me so much in the last two years, I appreciate every advice you have giving to me. <3 lots of yo you!! )

Great suggestion nel - I'll look for it. I agree that other's recovery stories can really be encouraging & help us stick to our resolve.

Wonderful job on 11 months sober.

They rave about 'Yellow' on Amazon. I'm going to put it on my kindle. Can't believe I never heard of it - published in June.

P.S. another good book is `A Peice of Cake` by Cupcake Brown. It's a very very good book! Right up there with Yellow Tale.
