Hello everyone!

Well I am just over 10 months sober and a few minutes ago I had the weirdest sensation.... I could smell and taste bourbon.... and that's not even a drink I have drunk for a few years! Very strange indeed - fortunately it has gone away now.

I don't get drunk dreams (I don't recall my dreams due to some medication I am on) so I don't have this 'reminder' of specific alcohols. I generally keep the smell of alcohol out of my life as I don't find being reminded of the smell helps me. So this was a real bolt for me! All I am doing is reading here on SR...

Skye2 - no, no upset tummy or any illness symptoms. Now feel hungry but that could be because it is nearly lunchtime - lol!
