What do you drink instead, non alcoholic.
Hey karate, I don't think coffee at night sounds crazy - I do the same thing to kill the craving and it works! I really like experimenting with the flavored coffees....and sometimes creamers too!
Its shocking ,I agree im experimenting with some hersheys in my coffee right now .
When I drank wine, I also had Arrowhead Sparkling Lemon or lime Water all day. Wine and Water for two decades. No more wine, but I still drink water all day long....literally. If I'm in the car I have cold bottled water. At Home? I now prefer club soda. Ralph's has been having their canned 12 pack on sale for $1.99. SO, I kinda got hooked on the can thing . Out to lunch/dinner? Club soda with lime. Bedtime? A glass of plain tap water with ice on my bed stand. Bobbi

Sparkling water with a few drops of angostura bitters and a lime. Ginger ale poured over muddled fresh mint leaves. Hot Doctor Pepper with a lemon. Homemade hot chocolate with cinnamon and a little chili powder or white pepper.
I love soda water with grapefruit or plain and tap water, as well. The Kitchn has a great post on 15 non-alcoholic spritzers, sodas and mocktails...Sparkly rosemary limeade? Count me in! I don't have enough posts to include the link, but I bet you can use google to find it.
I just finished off a 2 liter of diet A&W root beer, lol. Thinking the Diet Pepsi will be next. I really love vegetable juice, too, like V8, and I am the only one in the house who likes it. I love it when that happens, as you know that no one will drink it up on you.
Crystal Geyser flavored sparkling waters. Get them by the caseload at Costco. Also like to try flavored sodas - whatever the supermarket brand is. And Squirt soda.
While out, a soda with lime (if I'm in a "cocktail-like" situation where mixed drinks are served.) Or, iced tea or a cola in a restaurant.
For hot drinks: hot tea in the morning and at work, coffee on the weekends or lattes for a treat - especially vanilla or pumpkin flavored yum! I've recently discovered the deliciousness of the "steamer", which is steamed milk with vanilla syrup. Mmmmm! And really good hot chocolate made with shaved chocolate and whole milk. With marshmallows or whipped cream.

Teavana teas. Earl Grey or English breakfast in the morning, mostly water through the day, and herbal teas at night. My current favorite is white chocolate peppermint rooibos. I'm spending my wine savings on expensive tea. ;-)
Heading out in a little bit to get a 12 pack of pineapple Fanta ,drank 2 -20 ounce bottles this evening .
Going to go ahead and get a 12 pack of the cans ,to save the trips back for more
Still better than alcohol .
