I guess to me it sounds like an oxymoron to say "I knew I was in denial". Makes more sense to say I was not in denial or I was.

"human robot"

"true lies" -- this one has special meaning for me on many levels - and these same meanings resonate within this discussion, for me anyways. Informed introspections of ourselves are as varied as are our personal takes on our subjective and objective points of view on denial and rationalisations. We all look thru the glass darkly, imo.
