Alcohol is Positively Negative

Alcohol is Positively Negative

We drank for happiness and became depressed.

We drank for joy and became miserable.

We drank fir sociability and became argumentative.

We drank for sophistication and became obnoxious.

We drank for friendship and made enemies.

We drank for sleep and awakened without rest.

We drank for strength and felt weak.

We drank for "medicinally" and acquired health problems.

We drank for relaxation and got the shakes.

We drank for bravery and became afraid.

We drank to make conversation easier and slurred out speech.

We drank for freedom and became slaves

We drank to ease problems and watched them multiply
We drank to feel good only to get sick.

So true. These are the 3 I related to the most.

I swear I have not had a decent night's sleep in 25 years. Even at 92 days sober I still have problems. Before I was a drinker I slept so good.

I always uses alcohol as my "medicine" and it gave my high blood pressure, weight gain, and who knows what other damage.

When I was young I used alcohol to relax and loosen up so I could talk to women and it worked well back then; in my later years of drinking I could not hold a conversation if I was drunk. I would lose my train of thought mid sentence, had no memory left and was an embarassment to myself. I never wanted to socialize anymore when loaded.
