Smile ANOTHER thread by Weaver?

Sorry all but I look to these forums for support.

I just got back from my first AA meeting. I got a white chip. Everyone there was SO supportive. I am so happy and anxious to start my sober journey.

Just wanted to let you guys know. I plan on going again tomorrow.

I have never been this excited for recovery before. I want to embrace EVERYTHING and put my all into this. I must and I will.

Thanks for listening!

Congrats Weaver! The guy/gal in that room with the longest sobriety will face exactly the same question you do tomorrow. The ONLY day any one of us can do anything about is today, and it's more than good enough, it's what sobriety is all about - one day at a time.

Nice work Weaver! No treatment then? Good to hear you had a great experience at AA.

Congratulations on your Welcome chip....I'm 11 months ( a newbie). I agree with Eddiebuckle, it is a One Day At A Time program for me too. Hugs to you! Bobbi
