My birthday

Well it's after midnight here and I can't believe that I am 33 years old today (Friday)! I had tea and cake with my Grandma earlier and I said "hey, do you remember when I was really young and..." She interrupted me with "what do you mean WHEN you were really young? You are still young dear".

I hope to be like my Gran if I live to be nearly 90...I never thought I would see 33 either to be honest...

I went shopping earlier and treated myself to some new books. When I was in in the queue, there was a woman with a small boy in front of me...he looked about 4, and I was looking down and thinking "what a cute kid" and then I looked at his feet and realised that we were both wearing the same shoes...red converse...so I went to the shoe store and treated myself to a pair of heels for when I meet my friends tomorrow night. I have been hibernating for too long and it is time to make some changes!!

Yes, I am an alcoholic, but I am many other things as well.

Tetra, Happy Birthday!!! You're share made me feel extra good about myself. I isolated in my drinking, lately I've been thinking I want to buy some pretty things for me! Thanks for talking about the Red converse. Bobbi
