Drugged: High on Alcohol

Drugged - High On Alcohol - YouTube

I'm not sure if this has ever been posted here but this is a fantastic documentary about a chronic alcoholic finally seeking medical help. If you have 45 minutes free I recommend it. I don't feel my drinking ever got this bad, but I see a lot of my self in this poor guy.

Hi Ncognito, It is the real deal. I think everyone should watch it. Also there is a series of 10 videos on youtube called Rain in The Heart. They are real too. Best wishes to you.

I watched it a few months ago. I was almost that bad...very, very disturbing.

I keep Drugged High on Alcohol and Rain in the Heart in the front of my mind whenever the Addictive Voice starts talking to me. I haven't had a drink in 37 days, and had very little desire to once I saw those documentaries.

I watch this frequently. It's unbelievable what alcoholism can do! I'm sure I could have easily ended up this bad. The ending was a real eye-opener! I also like Rain in My Heart..the 24 yr. old is enough to scare some straight!

I watch both frequently, the last time being this morning
It's a sunny day where I am and I have the day off. My AV was encouraging me to buy a nice cold bottle of wine to have with lunch. I made the effort to watch these documentaries and that desire is completely gone. I am sure these stories have helped many people.

Good God. I got the part where the guy was power drinking vodka and coke, with a bucket in front of him, then started throwing up and had to stop. That is utterly, utterly bleak. Thank God I am sober now. Seriously.
