Worry

I wish I could get rid of the worry, stress and strain from my father's face.

I know he worries...about me (a lot), my mom and my sister.

This morning I went to the laundry room to do a load. I reached into the basket and pulled out my dad's pajamas. They were soaking wet.

He came in and I jokingly said "did you take a shower in your jammies?"

He replied "no, I have been having night sweats, but it's nothing to worry about..."

I spent the next half hour pleading with him to make a GP appointment. He refused flat out.

Now I feel sick to my stomach and I am the one who is worrying. I feel like this is all my fault.

His choice. He's a big boy. Let it go.
