Hi and welcome hungover

I know getting sober is scary but so's the future you're looking at if you don't stop.
My drinking nearly killed me.

Do something - whether it's seeing your Dr or rehab or some kind of recovery programme.

You can change your future and pull out of the dive you're in - but only if you act - noone else here can do it for you...

Nothing like loving the thing that's killing you. Because that is what is it doing. Alcohol is your enemy - an enemy so subtle it can poison you and tell you at the same time life would be awful without it there to make you feel so...'wonderful'? I don't think so.

Take a frank and objective look at what your life has become and where it is going. Then ask yourself if you really do want to continue on the path you are on, or does it simply feel too hard to jump ship at this point.

If you decide to allow yourself to get sick(er) and completely wreck your life that is your choice of course, but rather than stumble into it, try to do a cost/benefit exercise on it. There are lifeboats out there if you want one.

You might find the newcomers forum helpful.

Hangover,

Give Detox another try. Your still young..but are living the ''live hard die young'' lifestyle.

It really is a matter between life and death.

There is always tomorrow..until there isn't if you keep drinking.

Im only 32. (been sober 3 months)

Mornin Hangover.

When the pain to change becomes less than the pain to stay the same.....we change. You'll get there, relax, your on your way!!
If you knew that someone you truly loved felt the way you do right now, to what length would you go to help them? Why can't we do that for ourselves!?

All the best,

Ron
