first time calling in sick sober

Been sober 96 days. This is my first time calling in sick to my job due to something that isn't a hangover.

I used to go to work feeling 10x worse than I did this morning, but figured I had to push through because... well, I felt like that most of the time.

Today I felt just a little tired and slightly congested, so I called it a day.

Weird, even being sick is easier now that I'm sober.

From someone who has lost jobs due to being under the influence either on the job or not going at all, congratulations. That is truly awesome.

lol I used to not call in sick cause i was hungover because i felt it was my punishment for being a moron and getting to drunk again. Tho someitmes it was so bad I had to call off. One time I didnt call in sick but worked from home in my lazy boy half awake for the first 4 or 5 hours.

yeah being sick sober is way easier you recover faster too.
