Thanks Dan. I am really fortunate to have been shown the way to recovery this time. I am thankfull for my supportive wife, AA , and everyone here at SR. It has been a really trying week. I have been out of town. Surrounded by lots of opportunity and temptation to drink. Luckily, I have found AA meetings here. I finally have been able to put my fear aside and reach out to new people. In the past, I have been handcuffed my excessive fear and anxiety. It has kept me from living for the last 15 years. The only way to unlock myself was with the bottle. It feels so good to realize there is hope, and to actually see progress! I have 3 months now. Life is starting to become a little better. I know I have some big hurdles coming up. But I realize that I will do whatever is withing my power to overcome them. And sobriety has to be job 1.
