Ah yes, I'd forgotten about my dancing elbow - always twitching away!

Another one is that my hands are a lot more steady. When I hold them out in front of me they don't shake anymore!

1) I cannot be the father to my children that I need to be if I am drunk.
Hope we all have a big notebook! No erasers right?

Maintaining my blood pressure. Right on the medication bottle: avoid the use of alcohol while taking this medication.

Yeah, that has been a big one for me too.

The more I get into my recovery, the more I think back with shock and remorse about what I was doing to myself. The constant drinking, buying of alcohol, and the failure to upgrade anything in my life apart from the amount I drank is definitely something I don't miss.

No more (latter drinking) keeping count of my drinks, organizing times, measuring standard drinks, and literally driving myself even more insane.

No more hugging the toilet bowl, it's nice not to be vomiting first thing in the morning.
