100 Reasons to stay 100% sober:
Not sure what number we are on here but mine so far has to be that I'm not thinking about how I'm going to hide my shakes and the body jerking - that was just plain embarrassing - my lip always twitched!!

had one back when I was a single man dating
sure makes one hell of an impression on that first date
when I blow the heck out of that interlock thing so as to start my car
as she wonders to herself
where in the heck did I find this guy ????????????
and
who knows where he has been ?????????????????
and what did he do while he was there ????????????????????

For those that have been following my threads, I need some encouragement. Today I started jotting down notes as to why I want to be sober.... and stay that way. No relapses, no falling off the wagon.
So I thought it would be helpful if we all pitched in and made a thread of all the good reasons to stay sober. I will go first.

1) I cannot be the father to my children that I need to be if I am drunk.

The more I get into my recovery, the more I think back with shock and remorse about what I was doing to myself. The constant drinking, buying of alcohol, and the failure to upgrade anything in my life apart from the amount I drank is definitely something I don't miss.
