Ironing without drinking

This is a funny (kinda) confession. Every Wednesday I iron all my clothes and drink. It's weird not ironing drunk.

yeah it's weird for me to not cook drunk. It seems to take much longer now

I used to pressure can food from our garden.... sippin' whiskey all the while!! Surprised I haven't blown the kitchen up.

I used to sit on a tractor for hours drinking beer. Now it seems a lot more boring.

i used to drink beer in the shower...i thought id just add that. there was nothing that beer couldn't enhance

Drinking and cleaning always went together for me. Turns out I enjoy it just as much without the booze. My God, I'm a freak!

Wow me too! When I first posted about me drunk ironing I thought I was the freak! I loved to drunk clean and drunk iron! I am just on day 6 and am just now getting thru some of the withdrawal stuff so this weekend will be a big test for me.

Beer in the shower started as a vacation thing at the beach, started doing at home too years ago.
Funny though, reading this, I just realized I haven't felt strange in the shower without it, cool something changed

Although tonight if I get a murmur from you know who I'm gonna blame LadyB

Just kiddin this post made happy, cause I honestly didn't miss my little treat suds'n'suds

Yeah, DB! I did that a few times. Looking back on it, it does seem like an obvious sign of alcoholism. Funny what we don't see when we're in the middle of it.

This thread has made me laugh

I would do the ironing, cleaning and cooking while drinking! It's funny now how much I actually get finished now I am sober. I used to get half way through a job, get distracted then me and my wine would move on to the next IMPORTANT task.
