Sleep problems ............

Been feeling kind of bad a week or so ,With very broken and limited sleep .

Started a harder workout routine ,so the soreness could be to blame .

Any natural remedies ?

Have basically plenty of xanax ,for that ,but it leaves me a bit hungover .

Of the joys of middle age

And no im not drinking excessively ,or suffering from withdrawals ,Have not drank enough in the last 6 months combined to make 1 good drunken spell .

Suggest you go very easy on xanax (check with doctor)

Valerian, a herb, not valium, helps some people.
There are herbal sleep remedies available and worth trying.
One old remedy is milk and honey.

For me, removing all sleep aids, including OTC and herbal types, worked best to improve sleep after quitting alcohol. It was tough at first but eventually sorted out. The human body is an incredible mechanism when left unpolluted. And it turns out I need 7-8 hrs of sleep instead of 4 hrs of passed out drunkenness.

Hope you get some good rest after the workouts, Karate.
