alcoholism on one shoulder the person i used to be on the other

they say im lucky to be recognizing that I can drink like a normal person that im lucky to of caught it this young...well no im not lucky im just not an alcoholic.

im not going to drink tonight...look at how your mom feels I know you know the buzz shes getting right now.

I cant wait for my cousins birthday the big 13...ohh yeah you really cant wait you know your getting anxiety just thinking about waiting past the usual 7pm.

im not moderating because the limit line tends to cause me to blackout and make a mess of things....but your not going over the line so its okay your not an alcoholic because you can moderate.........

the lies .......day 6 with out alcohol

Thanks for your post... Hang in there !

Get into a program, surround yourself with people who are sober.

Having have had over 2 years of sobriety, I can tell you the life without booze is much better...

Keep posting

Hang in there.
Find something to keep you occupied that doesn't relate to booze. Sounds to me like you're kind of obsessing over the not-drinking. (Not trying to be judgmental. Just an observation)
Focus on living and you'll soon forget about the boozing.
Day 61 here. We all go through what you're feeling. We're all in this together. Stay strong, friend.

Identify and work on the issues in your life , and the drinking may fix itself .

At the least it will be easier
