Have you ever had breathing problems from alcohol

I'm a hypochondriac aswell, and constantly worrying about health, always looking symptoms up on the internet and WebMD etc, but I've forced myself to stop, and I can safely say that the weird breathing feeling has totally gone now. I'm 13 days sober and my anxiety/panic attacks are so much better. I got checked by the doctor and my heart/lungs, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels are fine, and my doctor said the feeling was most likely caused by all the alcohol constantly in my system, blood sugar levels AND the increased anxiety and panic from alcohol. Thanks for all the helpful posts guys I feel so relieved

Can't say for certain but after I dropped the alcohol, late night and early morning wheezing/whistling stopped. Late night shortness of breath also went away.
Blood alcohol level dropping, and extreme acid reflux I truly believe that my drink was entering my lungs. I would wake up coughing every few hours.
How I EVER laid down with that much liquid in my stomach for years.. I don't know.
