Day 220.

The "Clean Sober & Strong" Rally on Saturday went well. We had 3 different recovery groups turn out in a big way - they brought their families, the band played from about 3 hours. We ran out of Hot Dogs, but by that time everyone was full.

The 4 speakers did a great job.

Yes, I had challengers, no, I didn't lose.

I'm already planning the fall event. More recovery groups, good music, good food and much more activities next time. Such as horseshoes, cornhole, batmitten, volleyball and more.

I saw people from all 3 groups talking and sharing with each other who didn't know one another before then. But they had one thing in common - they were in recovery to some degree from substance abuse.

It was a good time. Saturday we Celebrated our Recovery...we didn't whine about our recovery. We had a great time! That's how it should be! People, we don't need alcohol or drugs to have a great time.
