It is possible
Hello:
Yesterday was 7 months since my last drink. I didn't remember the special occasion as alcohol or thoughts of drinking didn't cross my mind. I spent the day enjoying the company of my daughter and her boyfriend, my mom and others. We went to our favorite bakery for a late breakfast and had a wonderful home-made dinner. We talked, told jokes and cared for each other. It was a perfect day.
This morning, a day later, I woke up amazed at the miracle of yesterday, made possible only because alcohol is not part of my life anymore.
If anyone is struggling with thoughts or cravings... Please, please know that they will go away completely and you will be able to have a normal life and feel joy once more. Seven months ago I didn't think it was possible but it is.
I love my sober life!!!!
