Fresh start and that's ok

So after falling off the wagon in such a horribly spectacular fashion Saturday, I've decided to let it go. I let myself down, let the people I love down. I was hung over for three days and horribly depressed.
I will learn from this experience. I will grow. This wasn't a failure, it's a learning experience. I've no desire to give up on sobriety. In fact, the ill effects have strengthened my resolve.
It's going to okay. I will be ok.

You and me both KeyHeart. I had a spectacular slip about two weeks ago. Much has changed in my personal life due to this, but all and all I am lucky to be where I am. As you said, this experience has made me dig my heels in and latch onto sobriety. Its the only way for me. Good luck to you and hope to see you around.

I hear you. I've had some pretty big tumbles since making my commitment, and now I think I'm stronger for it. You are definately ok. Time to get back on that horse and ride hard.
