Sudz No More

During my last meeting with my therapist he told me the way I was talking about things had taken a different tone. One more of recovery than a defeated hopeless Alcoholic. At that particular moment I wasn't sure that I felt it that way but a few days since then and I start to see it for myself.

Some of the things that used to trigger my compulsions just don't seem to affect me anymore. I am cautiously optimistic and remain guarded but it is nice to see the light of day after so many dark years.

I must be vigilant to win this war after so many lost battles. With momentum now on my side it is time to not lose focus.

Thanks for the positive message. It is great that you are growing and moving from negative to positive. That is what recovery is doing for me; changing for the better in many ways. Keep growing.
