This is real life. This Website is about saving lives. It's about helping people get their lives back and regaining their dignity and self respect. I deleted my Facebook account a few weeks ago because I got tired of reading about people's petty problems or political or religious views. I dont care if someone stole your parking space at Walmart or that Jr. got all A's on his report card. Its hard enough dealing with my own problems. I didn't need theirs. I have spent a good amount of time last night and today reading posts or replying to posts on here. Many were uplifting and heroic and some were downright tragic and heartbreaking but I could relate in some way to almost all of them. I am in the right place to find others like me who know what addiction is like. My Monster is Alcohol. Reading about how much you hate your Boss isn't going to help me fight my Monster. Reading about others like me, reading about relapse and destroyed finances and relationships and lives and struggle and hope and positivity and triumph. That is going to help me and hopefully I can help you also.
