Question Salivation

Once and awhile when I would come down off a Vodka bender of 4 or 5 days of very substantial consumption I would get an increase in that watery saliva you get when you eat something sour or before you puke. It would last from several hours to a day and then disappear.

Over the last three weeks or round a bouts it seems like I am producing this extra amount of watery saliva all the time. I was curious if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas or advice on what it may be from. Thanks in advance. Oh yeah and to everyone.

You should see a doctor. I did have a little bit of that and in my case it was due to a stomach inflammation caused by the alcohol. But when I went in, I was chastised for waiting so long because my symptoms could have been other things. It's best to just get it checked out so you know.

Are you planning to stop drinking?

Hey thanks for replying. What did they say could be some other possible causes? I am planning on quitting and I have an appointment with my Doctor for this coming Monday.
