A New Career Thanx To Sobriety.....
So I passed my city exams & will be able to operate a limo or taxi cab. I am proud of myself & think I am surprising some people in my life. I will be able to make good money if I act like a professional. I still have the background check (which surprisingly) I will pass and begin my new adventure. This is coming from someone who use to beg for change on the subway for a pint of Vodka. I have close to 1 year of sobriety and finally putting the awful drunk chapter of my life to a close.

Thank you. I think it's important to focus on the benefits that sobriety brings instead of the negatives that active addiction brings. People tried to scare me into sobriety for many years. It would work on a temporary basis (usually a few months) but then I would back to the bottle. I wish I could say something that could get everyone sober but I know I can't. Sobriety is a different journey for everyone.
