Fantastic news on your remission. I have a fellow AA member who was diagnosed in October. He has completed his treatments I believe and now just has to wait a few months and get checked again. He still has a bit of trouble with his voice and pain in his throat and he needs to gain some weight back but he is doing well and is still sober. I never realized that drinking could increase ones chances for esophageal cancer. I know it was a hereditary on my fathers side of the family in the men. Four of his uncles passed from it in the 70's. It is so good to know that the treatments are improving and saving lives.
