deeker's top ten
Subject: deeker's Top Ten signs you are growing up in recovery and are finding real peace ..
1. a loss of appetite for drama and judgement
2. a loss of desire for conflict
3. frequent, overwhelming, almost dizzying episodes of appreciation
4. an unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment
5. a loss of interest in taking things personally
6. a loss of interest in judging yourself
7. prone to give love without anything in return
8. frequent attacks of joy, unexplained smiling, and random bursts of laughter
9. feelings of being closely connected with others and nature
10. The obsession to drink has been lifted.
and drum roll,
10. an increased tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
WOOHOO! Could this be that spiritual awakening?

Going to my AA meetings regularly and enjoying them... not hating them.
Asking God for help BEFORE I screw up rather than after.
Looking at the 12 Steps as a blessing rather than a penalty.
All the best.
