Pottery class

I signed up for a pottery class. So far in one class i have learned that i am going to have to develop paitences and be ok if things arent perfect or the way i want them to be. It was amazingly helpful in my recovery.

I like it. It is a completely different gear for my alcoholic mind. Completely. Keep in touch I would like to hear how you like it.

Pottery is one of the few things I've never done, which is weird because it really appeals to my hippie nature. The whole "the clay will show me what it wants to be" thing LOL

I love to create...being in the flow is a natural high.

How many classes are in your series? You should start a thread in the cafe central area...post some pics of your work. I will let you know when mine starts. I have a feeling I'm going to love it.

This thread would be great reading for all those who are concerned lately about being bored in sobriety!

Congratulations! I love the idea of new hobbies and just trying new things. It is refreshing to me to be able to truly enjoy doing anything sober. It proves to me that life can be fun, peaceful and just a blessing again. I am grateful for those times.

I am learning that I like a lot of things. I had no idea!
