Three Years Sober Today and Grateful
Hello all!
Been a while since I have posted. As usual, lurking and reading and taking comfort in all that the SR community gives us. Taking a moment today to log in and give a little back. :-)
Three years ago today I made the decision to eliminate alcohol. It hasn't been easy but it has been worth the hard work. To everyone just starting out or working on quitting: keep it up! You *CAN* do it! :-) It took me quitting many, many times (off and on for ~2 years!) for it to stick, but it finally did. Now I work my sobriety every day and make positive decisions that keep me on the right track.
Thanks to everyone at SR, special thanks to Dee and Anna for hanging with us, and to anyone and everyone reading this. It may not always be easy, but it is ALWAYS worth it! YOU CAN DO IT TOO :-)
