Struggling BIG time today, very hard..dont feel right at all, talk about my moods swinging about.

Gotta grind this out, feels like My whole day is focusing on Drinking and not drinking.

My Av like a snow storm sometimes for me, sometimes it's so blustery I can't see a foot in front of my nose. But then, in a few minutes, the snow lightens up and the wind dies down again. Afterwards I feel so good that I weathered another one; the sun comes out and sparkles on that fresh snow.

numbing that voice doesn't stop it, it just keeps it going with a buzz, and that doesn't help...it really puts the voice in full force when ya do stop....

action is the key here, help someone else, do something for someone else, do something active or productive for you....then see how you are....

My mind nearly drove me crazy in the early days with the drinking/not drinking/recovering obsession. It was like the accelerator was stuck to the floor with no way out. It does pass, but it takes it's own time. You can survive it and find peace.

People that came over tonight decided not to drink because i was not drinking, that was nice of them, we chatted laughed , it was good.
