Bill W. (2012)

Hi everyone, I wanted to share the trailer for the documentary Bill W. which was released this past May. I missed it (hadn't heard about it until recently after getting sober). Anyways for those of you who haven't heard about it and would be interested here is the link to the trailer which can also be googled. I think it will probably be out for rent sometime relatively soon however, my neighborhood theatre is having a one time screening next week. Ironically this will be the day after I take one of the biggest tests (actually THE biggest test of my life/career). I thought it suiting that I can go watch this after going through something very stressful which causes me some temptation to take a drink after (or 4). Maybe in theatres around you guys the same will go on so you don't have to wait if you haven't seen it yet either. Anyways, take care.

Oh and for those who did see it feel free to share opinions.

I missed the screenings when they were in town here, but I have my DVD copy already ordered. I am really looking forward to seeing it.

Good luck with your "big test"

James Woods was good but it was very watered downed in terms of accuracy.

revognuh, this is a new documentary by Page 124 Productions, just released. I don't believe James Woods is in this one!

Wow! So exciting! Thank you very much for the info. I have recently been listening to all of the Bill W tapes at aaspeakertapes.org

I saw that movie with James Woods and James Garner. It was a dramatization called
"My Name is Bill W" and was made in 1989

I also saw "Bill W" and it was more or less a documentary made in 2012
