Thumbs up Good fight to RICKY HATTON!

Boxing News, Ricky Hatton lost a boxing 10 round fight in the 8th by a lucky liver punch to his opponent, *Welterweight* and was winning by about 4 rounds.

Why do I bring it up? He was on a lot of cocaine for 3+ years and heavy drinking, and yet he straightened himself up, and came back like a Champion... even in his defeat which he was so close to the WIN, as the judges had him ahead- he lost. He was upset and everything-

So again why do I bring it up? He's not my hero exactly in boxing, I don't watch it much but I wanted to see it as he had lost 70 lbs during his drugging/drinking, and he rebuilt/reformed and practically won in life- despite the loss in the ring.

So it's a toast post, people can come back, amazing how disciplined and strong he was throughout the battle! Good work Hatton! :]

He actually gained the 70 pounds during his temporary retirement, then lost it all due to training in the 4 months leading up to the fight. He has done well to get back in shape but looked a broken man last night, time to pack it in Ricky.
