Not much to say. Been a while since I've been back here. Drinking again the last year, maybe slightly less, after being sober and extremely healthy for 6 months prior to that. Well I've been saying for months now "tomorrow is the day", and I've been through this before. I'm 38 and have probably done this 5x in the last 10 years. Year on the wagon, year off. Ever since I REALLY realized I had an issue with alcohol.

Well anyway, today is the beginning of day 3. No real withdrawal issues as of now. Realize they could come later. But as I've mentioned, done this before and withdrawal has never really been an issue. At least physically. So I guess we'll see how this attempt goes.

I would suggest planning your detox ahead, as you know it's dangerous to to withdraw alone or without medical supervision, then you can a clear idea of how you are going to do it this time round.
