4 Months today:)

I have 4 months up today, it's not a big deal to anyone else but it is to me. It's the longest I have gone since I was 18 (now 31). I was in rehab for 16 weeks but this time im out in the real world again.

Since my Divorce just over 3 years ago my life has been hell 6 detoxes and a rehab after losing absolutely everything I had... It's Friday night and everyone is going out partying (wish I could still do it). but I know from experience I cannot take that first drink!!

Cheers

Excellent news, I bet you feel really better now. I'm nearly 6 months, come the 7th Dec. It's great that you have come this far and the longest you've been. I started drinking at 18, had multiple detoxes and relepases, this is my longest I have ever done also, I count everyday I am sober and I am greatful to wake up with a smile on my face and all the energy to take on the world! Again well done!

4 months is a huge deal, congratulations.
Glad you figured out it is the first drink. I spent way too many years trying to figure out how many I could have without stepping over the line. It never worked. I eventually lost count!

For an alcoholic, even 4 days or hours is a big deal.

Congrats!
